About Sean:

I am 43 years old and grew up here in Virginia Beach. I attended Kempsville schools and graduated in 1986. I attended the University of georgia, and obtained my B.A. Degree in Journalism, then returned to Univ of Georgia and obtained my master's degree in Elementary Education, with a major in Language Arts. I taught 5th grade, all subjects, in Athens, Georgia in the late 1990's. I am a paid Journalist/Writer currently for a website, where I write about natural remedies and chemicals in food. I have written several books, and I currently maintain a website to help smokers quit cigarettes.

I currently live near Town Center with my girlfriend and her children, ages 9, 11, and 17. I tutor them and help them study for tests. I have remarkable teaching skills and remember all of my teaching strategies from the University and being in the classroom. I helped children advance two grade levels in one year, including children with learning disabilities and hyperactivity issues.

I have a lot of patience, and I know how to explain things more ways than one so children appreciate my humble attitude and how I show them respect, no matter what reading, writing, or math level they are at.
